The Artist

I am a goldsmith, silversmith, metal artist and a BA(Hons) graduate of Sheffield, famous for its silversmithing and cutlery heritage. 

I have exhibited internationally, undertaken major commissions and won multiple awards for my distinctive work.

After winning the Gold Medal for Craft & Design in 2008 I was inducted into the Gorsedd of Bards in 2010 for my contribution to the arts in Wales. 

Inspired by fossils, natural geometry, and the land and seascape of Wales, my work blends contemporary design with a strong sense of place and identity.

Explore silverware and sculpture

Hand‑crafted bowls and sculptures sit on fragments of driftwood creating a quiet tension between what is precious/of value and what is discarded/seen as worthless. 

This collection is based on where ammonites, and their companions, can be found- in pebbles, near rocks, driftwood and discarded fishing tackle.
